Getting Started | Linux Chapters
Hi fellas. Here @letustweak we have decided to get our viewers much more acquainted with Linux and it’s terminologies along with that we’ll do bash scripting together to make our work automated and much easier.
So, let’s get started with Linux.
As we know that Linux is most robust and popular OS in the world. So, we should know and use its enormous power as per our requirement. This series will get you started with all you want to achieve with Linux to get your general works done. So, grab your favorite beverage and get started.
Here in this series we’ll move step by step in our learning process and we’ll start with basics.
we are using ubuntu for this series. but you can use any flavor you want.
Now, lets skim through the index of these Linux chapters and have a glance of what we are going to achieve.

Chapter 1 – Getting Started.
Chapter 2 – Installing Ubuntu.
Chapter 3 – Terminal What it is?? and why should we use it ( Navigating in Terminal and using life-savior man and –help commands. )
Chapter 4 – File Management ( ls, copy, move, rename, rmdir, mkdir, cat with more on vi/nano editor )
Chapter 5 – Linux File System Layout.
Chapter 6 – Expansion and redirection using devnull, devzero etc.
Chapter 7 – Using grep and sed.
Chapter 8 – What is sudo..??
Chapter 9 – File permissions, users and group Management.
Chapter 10 – Type of links – Symbolic and hard links.
Chapter 11 – Process Management.
Chapter 12 – Logging and log rotation in linux.
