Whats New
Google glass version 2.0 has been revealed in Federal Communications Commission filing which shows that Google has improved the new version of glass by learning from its previous version failures. The new Google glass is crafter under project Aura (a Google’s project for improving wearable products).
Some of enhancements included in v2.0 of Google glasses are:
- Improved battery life.

As the glass platform is open and this time Google is planning to hand this tech to other companies where they can enhance/ customize before they are handed to others for use mainly in workplaces/ industries.
According to the FCC filing the new version 2.0 of Google glass is much more portable as it now has a foldable hinge through which it can be kept folded as normal glasses.
This version is believed to have 1GB of RAM and 5MP camera with 16GB of memory also these glasses can be easily connected to smart phones for hands-free access having 5Ghz wifi band for smooth video streaming the prism style screen is same as previous version and supports resolution of 640 by 360.
